FLORIDA SPORTSMAN PROJECT DREAMBOAT — On this season of Florida Sportsman Project Dreamboat we’re excited to show the progress we have made at the shop from Season 1 to Season 2. On this season you’ll see everything from Mercury Marine repowers, electrical projects, as well as custom paint designs. For the first part of the season, we’re seen making way on the 25′ Contender project as well as the Deep Impact 399 project. The 25′ Contender project comes in for new tanks, new Mercury motors, new electronics, new rub rail, new top from Birdsall Marine as well as a few other things to bring the boat up to date.

The Deep Impact 399 that came in for repairs from vandalism was put on the back burner for a few weeks while we located someone to finish the glass for the top. While waiting for the glass, we completely repainted and rebuilt the dash as well as repowered with brand new quad Mercury Racing 400R’s. After we received the glass we were able to install it, we also installed a light bar as well as some new electronics. We tuned the quad 400R’s and soon we were ready for a sea trial and customer pick up. This boat will be going back to it’s owner in Boca Raton, FL where you may see it cruising through Boca Lake.
